Bernie isn’t going to do anything if they even put him in the primary. Dems are desperate for support so that’s why they are parading Bernie and AOC around before the mid terms next year. Green Party, Reform Party, Constitutional Party are just some of the other parties in the USA. But honestly we can’t vote our way out of a broken system

I agree that electoral politics is over and done for, and that the Democratic party is just as complicit with the fascists in control as conservatives are. But to disregard the movement Bernie started and continues to lead is disingenuous. People want genuine, material change and, if anything, him speaking is drawing massive crowds of those people. Who’s to say those same people wont kick off a movement that actually DOES SOMETHING.

If elections don’t matter, what’s left is surrender to the dictatorship or take arms. If elections don’t matter, I don’t see why any decision maker would care about any movement started by Bernie or whoever else

Now you’re getting it. We are at a critical moment in history, we can either accept the rule of the elites or we can do what was historically done. Rise up or comply

        disregard the movement Bernie started

It’s not a movement, the entire purpose of this tour with AOC is to keep disenfranchised voters herded within the party so they don’t stray too far.

People do want change and they are realizing that change will never come from Democrats, so they throw Bernie out there so give them the illusion that if they stick around long enough there will be change. Just long enough to prevent them from forming outside coalitions, leaving them with no choice but to vote for Democrats, again.

Bernie Sanders, the Justice Democrats, the Working Families Party, and Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are a failed experiment.

We need an independent grassroots movement by and for the working class.

      Check out Workers Strike Back.

      For those interested:

We need to build an organized, unified movement of working people to systematically take on the rich who run society, and to undermine their ability to rule. Our goal must be to both fight for radical change in the present and to bring down the billionaires and their system. There is no other path to avoid total disaster for human civilization and the planet.

Working people need to be clear about who our enemies are. Our enemies are not other working-class or middle-class people, immigrants, the poor, Muslims, trans people, ordinary Republican or Democratic voters, nor independent voters or nonvoters. Our enemies are those who make millions or billions of dollars a year, own the politicians, own the land and resources, and who call the shots in this system. Our enemies are also those who justify and protect the interests of the rich.

The billionaires themselves are fully responsible for the disasters engulfing us — Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, the healthcare CEOs, the major shareholders on Wall Street. It is not some collective “we” or “human nature” which is responsible; it’s the rich who put their profits ahead of everything and everyone. We need to end the billionaire class and their system once and for all.[1]

if you ever think of doing anything interesting, that’s not in normal channels of politics I would seriously advise you not to show up there and get your photos snapped
