Reading your thread and looking at your profile, I can’t help but wonder if you are either new to antifascism or you have something to hide from us.

I could do a point-by-point analysis, but for the sake of brevity I’ll touch on only a few points:

        1. Representatives in Imperial America serve their class, the upper class, first and foremost.
        2. Voting in a pseudodemocracy like Imperial America is usually a waste of time. Voting did not prevent Fascism in Germany, and we have no good reason to believe that it would prevent the institutionalization of neofascism in Imperial America either.
        3. Most, if not all small businesses dream of making it big one day. Purchasing from them instead of corporations may be preferable in certain situations but does not accomplish all that much in the long term.

You do have a few good suggestions for resisting neofascism, but the rest of these are very inadequate, and it is odd seeing them together like this.

This is just a compilation of all the resources I’ve found over the past year on ways to make a subtle impact. There are plenty of others who also appreciate the information. It seems like a poor use of your knowledge and time to get hung up on semantics because you didn’t like my title… the spirit of the post is to resist. There are resources on how to do that. What are you doing?

I think what comrade @AnarchoBolshevik@lemmygrad.ml is trying to get across is that spirit is certainly a necessary pre-requisite for resistance, but is not a substitute for correct analysis of the problems at hand nor for the solutions to them.

Focusing on working within the system designed by those you oppose is a losing game, but it isn’t one we have to play. Labor organizing, building up working class parties, and focusing on moving beyond the restraints of Capitalism is a much more effective path based on historical analysis than simply trying to play within the boundaries of Capitalism.

Individuals boycotting Amazon will not take it down, instead, why not sieze the state and nationalize it? Focusing on supporting small and local businesses will help a few individuals and take some small money away from megacorps, but this won’t happen at a systemic level.

The point here is that you have a great spirit to resist, but now the next steps are to analyze your surroundings more scientifically and see what the best usage of your efforts are. If spirit alone was sufficient, we already would have won, the working class outnumbers the Capitalists and Imperialists at an ever-increasing degree, but we need to channel that into correct solutions to overcome the complex networks of support they have built up.
