I hate that I learned who poodiepie is and have yet to meet any fans that weren’t mentally challenged. It is a waste of space in my brain and I would happily live under a rock if it meant I didn’t have to know about the existance of vapid, self-centered, so-called “youtube celebrities”. They add nothing to this world of any value and wouldn’t be missed.

Pewdiepie, by comparison, is the 12th most subscribed channel on youtube. I think you’re underestimating how much more famous that makes him with the general public.
