So this is going to remove him from power?

It’s going to put him in prison?

It’s going to stop or impede him in any capacity?

Yes. An actual, honest to God, liberty loving impeachment would do this.

No. His third impeachment will not accomplish this but you don’t not do it just because you think you know the outcome. You log all the cowards and traitors that reveal themselves in the failed vote for when it’s their turn.

So when are we allowed to get mad at the only people in positions of power to oppose fascism doing theater in place of stopping fascism?

You’ve been allowed to be mad at Republicans for not upholding the rule of law in the first two impeachments since they failed to uphold the rule of law in the first two impeachments… That’s when

Cool I’m mad at the Republicans.

          They need to be stopped.

I’m mad that the only people in opposing positions of power, the Democrats, are doing theater instead of stopping the Republicans who NEED TO BE STOPPED.

How do you recommend they personally stop fascism? Republicans control all three branches. Impeachment is their only legal avenue of recourse. Do you want them to do something outside their legal options? How exactly does getting arrested do anything but reduce their power to effect change?

I think if democrats did things necessary to actually impede them people would want to support them instead of people starting to think they are complicit.

If they get arrested it makes headlines and more people get engaged.

If they grew a spine it would be a good thing.

            Like what though, specifically?

If they get arrested it makes headlines and more people get engaged.

Which probably isn’t worth sacrificing their vote and presence. Do they let Congress vote from prison?

Just yesterday goons were blocked from entering and fucking up the library of congress, those librarians have more balls than those rich politicians you are fellatiating

Fucking block them from entering the building and voting, form committees and get judges to deputize militas to arrest them. Anything that physically restricts them, because that’s all that has stopped them so far.

" Illegal things are illegal, guess we should keep doing nothing then while pretending it will do anything."

Jesus christ what a bootlicker mentality.

And get arrested for breach of peace and surrender their vote? Who benefits from that? You’re removing your closest allies from the very position of power you were just emphasizing. An arrested librarian doesn’t impact what policies become law.

It’s not bootlicking to be able to think beyond what would feel good this instant. Impeachment is at the very least a bigger speed bump than whatever show of force you’d like them to lose their seat with.

On what grounds? If they’re successfully throwing representatives in prison for no reason, it’s too late anyway. Ignorant self-sabatoging mentality.
