Why should the youth care about an economy that actively works against them?
Confidence in economy means you can spend money because you are confident you can make enough to afford a thing. Of course, this hasn’t been a thing for a while which is why credit card debt is so high, but now everyone is so in debt and unsure they can even make a minimum payment that they just aren’t buying. So, retailers are crying. Boooo hoooo.
I’ll be sure to shed a tear for those poor retailers. How are the rich supposed to buy another yacht if folks don’t put their burritos on Klarna?
