Why sustain all those nasty pink pricks and self questionings when you can simply have hundred or thousand of horrendous deaths so smoothly ? /S
This Earth, the only true home i ever had and will ever have, is not my world, i’m just a passerby in here … it is yours and it is strange.
Why sustain all those nasty pink pricks and self questionings when you can simply have hundred or thousand of horrendous deaths so smoothly ? /S
We do agree that the war is bad and we do agree why it is bad.
We will not agree on the causes of the war - - it will take many, many years of peace, for the fog of war to dissipate, on both sides, before we see what really happened.
As long as you are against the war, against the invasion of Ukraine, even if you are pro-russia, we may discuss and agree on things.
After 3 years of senseless war, you must agree it was a bad thing that russia started this war, bad both for Ukraine and for russia.
Also, thanks for the sources you provided … i will check them out :

Thanks for this detailed analysis.
As for my comment, it was from an extremely simplistic reasoning (that you could call borderline dumb but probably not neoliberal 🤣).
My reasoning was that, if their costs goes up (because of tariffs) and they have to sell at the same price, so, making a loss on every sell, eventually, they would go bankrupt.
unions support the move as a job creator
… until manufacturers go bankrupt
i read he was dying a few hours ago : when was that declaration made ?

The text in the image is a computer command that can run on Unix Linux computers and it removes an important part of the operating system that is called “lib”.
After running this successfully, part of the operating system would have to be reinstalled.
The joke is that “lib” can also mean liberal which is one of the denomination for Democratic party members in the USA.
That (joke) would be an attack on this group by the saying : “owning the liberals”.
… but then : how should we call the “Security Vulnerability in Chief” 🤣 ?
Hi ChatttGPT,
what’s the ethics of commenting a wall of text with your signature only at the very bottom ?
At one point in my job we were working with unprocessed ones. Different people will have different perspectives.

Hey i like your contributions here … but please notice :
This has been posted, and re-posted, and re-posted, again, so many, many times, already, now.
No offense.
it’s the making of high technology chips out of the wafer that’s expensive rather than the wafers themselves.
(…) “It costs TSMC less than 10% more to process a 300mm wafer in Arizona than the same wafer made in Taiwan,”
Okay, it’s just the title that’s stupid.
Hi,
Please notice you have to move (or cross post) this to another community (maybe !programming@programming.dev community) … because, once moderators see this post, they will delete it since it is not following the rules of this community !
Edit : whoops, i see you have already cross posted this elsewhere.
Citizens have to organize against this traitor, i like most this part :
(…) once you understand that everything proceeds from the fact that the president is an omnidirectionally corrupt moron whose desperate need for adulation fuels his every decision, with the added problem that he has, since his first term, become more intellectually infirm, everything starts to make sense (…)
Same here … but still a bit concerned
Hey @FlyingSquid@lemmy.world, maybe you will want to reach out if you see this post. (Many here are a bit worried)
Take care 😌
Yes absolutely (and i was afraid to say it out loud).
But now, we have also to explain why it did not so much apply in the past millennias … or tens of past millenias. (again, i am afraid to say it … don’t want a shitstorm)
Lead was a much bigger problem in the 1970 when it was in road vehicles fuels. But now its only use in some small plane fuels. There is also much less use of lead paint and lead in water pipe systems.
