I would say the centrists are the Republicans who left the party over Trump, and the right-leqning Democrats. They exist. And they’re not fascists.

I’m using hyperbole to mock the “centrists are fascists” mentality rampant in these parts of the Fediverse. The Republican party from the 1980s wasn’t even fascist.

It’s authoritarians (fascists, progressives) vs. Political moderates (liberals, centrists). Just because the authoritarians are in two camps doesn’t make one good.

I don’t disagree that the article makes clear who the picture is of. I’m just noting that when you’re scrolling through headlines and thumbnails - on this site or others - you can associate the photo with whomever is mentioned. It’s unconscious, but it might give you an impression this was about a female predator.

When the victim’s photo is used as the thumbnail for a headline about a predator…

You don’t need a large research budget to hop from one vitamin / herb / superfood panacea recommendation to another every 6 months.

I think they meant changing partners is statistically an indication of future partner changes, not that no one should ever change under any circumstances.
