For me it’s the Superlux HD681. Audiophile-quality sound for $25.
The deep bass, neutral mids, and near-perfect imaging and sound staging makes them ideal for games, movies, and music. It has an excellent pinna-related transfer function, so everything sounds like it’s coming from in front of you and all around, rather than inside your head. Like being surrounded by speakers. In games you can pinpoint sounds with millimeter precision. And since they’re so cheap, they don’t have to be babied; when they break you just buy another pair and go about your day.
No joke, I’ve bought and returned $500 planar magnetic headphones that weren’t as good as these. The only issue with them is that the highs can be a bit siblant, leading to harshness, but that can easily be EQed out or permanently fixed with a mod.
Seriously, just go buy a pair. I mean everyone reading this, even if you’re not an enthusiast. They’re so cheap, it’s all but impossible to regret it.
I opted for an automatic pressure cooker instead.
You want to talk about most used kitchen appliance? It’s a rice cooker, slow cooker, steamer, sous vide machine, bread maker, pressure cooker, and induction cooktop, all in one!
Fine. Gen X can’t use modern computers.
No it doesn’t. I’ve been a legal adult for almost 20 years now and not once have I ever needed to use my credit for anything. I don’t even know what my credit score is because I don’t give a single fuck about my credit. If I can’t afford to buy something, I save up enough money until I can. It’s that simple.
You don’t need a credit card with a $25K limit. You don’t need a credit card at all.
Like I said earlier, quit whining and take your meds.
Your credit score is higher than 99% of Americans’. Quit your whining and please take your anxiety meds.
Give up all hope and mail me your credit cards, OP. I’ll “dispose” of them “properly” for you.
Try OnlyOffice.
Or just open it with Firefox like a normal person.
It’s good for sending documents you don’t want to be tampered with because most people don’t know how to edit a PDF.
GenX can’t use computers either.
Agreed. Loved it so much I saw it twice.
But to be fair—it was a prequel—not a remake.
Hey I wasn’t trying to hate; if it works for you that’s great.
I don’t game on my phone, either (also have a PC for that), but I’m also impatient. Anything that can lead to UI sluggishness is going to be an instant do-not-buy for me. I want my apps to install and open instantly; hell, I get frustrated even if the phone takes more than 10 seconds to boot, especially since I’m already used to my PC booting nearly instantly.
My impatience is something I seriously need therapy for.
Looks like it’s actually the XCover 8 that is is coming out soon.
Looked into the specs and it’s no wonder why it doesn’t sell. It’s worse than my 4-year-old device. Sucks that you have to sacrifice on performance to gain durability. I rather just buy a 2-year-old flagship and get an accidental damage coverage plan for it.
Google protects Fascists; they’ll be fine.
TIL that Microsoft is in the restaurant industry.
OP you should play Cities Skylines 2 (the original is good too if you have an older system). Then you can design your own bus routes and learn for yourself. It seems like the kind of game that would be right up your alley.
Read Monarch’s comment below yours. I was going to try to explain myself, but they said exactly what I was thinking, except more eloquently.
Late 90s, early 2000s was peak adolescent Axe usage. I entered high school in 2003, right when the fad was peaking. Which is good because it covered up the stench in the PE locker room.
How do you know for sure that the minors aren’t drag queens?
Also the poor clone stamp technique.
