after WW2 and the horrors of the Nazis came fully to light…people kept asking…how did the German people let this happen? how did they let it continue until disaster fell? how could they have allowed such cruelty and degradation to occur?

THIS was how. by not paying attention. by ignoring the growing inequities and terror going on in their midst. BY PRETENDING EVERYTHING WAS OK.

and now WE are doing the same. it’s easy to ignore right now…it isn’t TOO bad…not TOO many people are being affected…yet.

we need to stop ignoring and start paying attention to exactly what they are doing.

It’s all a matter of guilt, …as they see it

If you’re a member of the trump Reich you are guilty of nothing and if you are any kind of supporter of Democracy

You are guilty of everything

It’s as though there are two Democratic parties

One that yells and protests and works for change and another that makes sure nothing ever changes

But your never really sure who is in which group

The conservatives have been objecting to the Dept of Education since its inception just after the Civil War.

Their objectio then is the same now. Alrhough they don’t say it out loud anymore.

That it is dangerous, to the wealthy, to educate the lower classes
