the point I did a poor effort getting across was that obama shouldn’t be thought of as a leader with his move. like all politicians he follows crowds, elbows his way to the front and gets mistaken for an originator of ideas. Many of them are as bad as movie stars in their pathologic need to be seen and heard, even after they’ve left office

Obama never struck me as being personally interested in the free web, his move to bs shows he’s an attention whore who has simply sensed the trend
