But if you checked his context link you would see that they literally made brand new instances just to downvote this person for collecting evidence on their shittiness.
you apparently missed the word “net” in my comment. It does show downvotes on my app/instance. Ergo, his posts are still reaching people just fine, because again he has several hundred net upvotes, and many comments, meaning whoever was trying to limit his visibility has failed.
Upvotes and downvotes are made up internet points that decide sorting in the feeds.
It might not mean much if your opinion is popular or unpopular but when some individual loser wants to make you unseen that feels like a problem.
oh yeah, I’ll bet OP feels very unseen right now, with their nearly 500 net upvotes and ~70 comments on this post.
Point being, said loser has failed miserably to do anything other than make themselves look more like a loser.
