      He is desperately trying to redeem his legacy for future historians, now that he realizes he is going to be taking the blame in future history books for enabling the MAGA scourge. He has finally figured out that he will be remembered as one of the worst, most destructive, Americans in history. He deserves it.

      I hope he believes in God so he can live in terror of the afterlife during whatever life he has left.

    I’d welcome him to the right side of history since he now understands the situation, but he has realized too late that this was all his fault. Less whining, more taking responsibility for this.
