It is specifically about calling out people who are critical of the consequences of poverty experienced by younger generations, without acknowledging that poverty itself, or Boomers’ responsibility for creating that poverty. “ok, boomer” is what you say when someone tells you that to get a good job, you just need a strong work ethic, a firm handshake, and the willingness to walk up to the manager and ask for a job.
Maybe that’s what it means to you. I don’t think that’s a generally shared view.
