… what are we supposed to fucking do? I can stop eating meat but it’s not like I can stop eating altogether. Am I just going to get food poisoning a few times over the course of this nightmare administration? Do I have to wait 4 fucking years to enjoy eating without worrying about getting sick?

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

Actual answer is that many brands will still uphold a level of quality. The decay and race downward is not immediate, even though the ramifications will be long felt, so you will be mostly safe for the next 4 years from food poisoning. Just don’t try the lowest quality brands after a year if we stay on this course…

I worked in an industrial bakery for a while and was so mortified by the cleanliness and safety conditions that I basically only ate fresh vegetables & fruits and dry beans for several months because I was so worried about eating anything that had been under a factory roof

Was it good for my dietary health? Probably, but I spent a ridiculous amount of time on cooking and food prep and neglected other areas of my life to make up for it.

      Everything sucks.

Yes. As I am insane, I also treat my raw fruits and vegetables with a UV light (not that this would inactivate endotoxins though. For that you’re SOL)

Always wash the ever loving FUCK out of your produce and dry legumes.
