Well the Trump admin has been out there threatening every media company he doesn’t like. He HATES ‘60 Minutes’, and this guy has been there for 37 years. It has a huge following, and is seen amongst other journalists as having high credibility.
To me it reads like there was pressure from elsewhere to force him to resign in this way.
Was it though? Sure sounds like someone got threatened.
Does threatening someone to run the show differently not count like “compromising the show’s independence?”
