The refusal to pay taxes has been a powerful form of resistance against war and imperialism in North America since before the United States even existed. It may provide a potential mode of resistance against American funding for violence in Gaza, too.

    The short answer is “no”.

    The long answer is “noooooooooooooo.”

Taxes at the Federal level don’t pay for goods or services. Creating new money is how the Feds pay for stuff.

Federal taxes just delete money from target populations.

Betteridge’s law of headlines has never been as true for any headline as it is for this one.

The only way refusal to pay taxes will result in any change in the U.S. is if everyone refuses to pay.
