Hyper-fixating on something keeps me away from the kitchen, for better or worse. Same with sleep ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I’ll write something here later probably. In the meantime, hi to whoever’s reading this I hope you get a chance to enjoy something kind today :)

You make a great point.
I fire off comments without thinking much at about the same rate as I did on the other website but get replies on about ~50-60% here vs. ~20% on centralized media.
It’s really nice honestly. /gen
(And people are much nicer about tone tags here!)
Autocorrect just bailed on her lmao
“I’m a prick but I also like to smoke weed”
The 2000s smelled like new tech plastic, the static from CRTs, microwave dinners, pump hand soap, and grass.
2010s smelled like hibiscus, then beach sand, then sickly sweet and rubbing alcohol.
ETA: Gas fumes were also part of the ‘00s
I think the joke is that a vocal chunk of the user base here also uses Linux
Assuming the maze is a hedge maze (or, in the US, a corn maze instead) I’d plant a buttload of catnip along the paths and build in some feline-friendly sheltering.
Takes care of pest control and you get the pleasant surprise of kitties on your way in!
And set up a non-profit operation or co-op or something in the house.
Video tutorials without captions/instead of text. I don’t want to watch someone fumble through over 30 minutes what I can skim in 5.
This is oddly comforting. So many websites and opinion articles push the idea of painstakingly tailoring a resume, then hunting down the listing on the website and re-filling in that same resume twice.
On top of that they make you feel like you’re the problem when that doesn’t work and you’ve wasted three hours of your time to maybe get rejected six weeks later.
Thank you for being honest. This will save a lot of time and stress going forward. /gen
In Goldberg’s own write-up in The Atlantic he mentioned the admin has, in the past, had an odd fixation on him.
It’s possible this was both gross negligence of national security and an attempt to entrap the journalist into being a leaker/whistleblower; creating a convenient excuse to target Goldberg and disappear him to El Salvador.
I have met him in the past, and though I didn’t find it particularly strange that he might be reaching out to me, I did think it somewhat unusual, given the Trump administration’s contentious relationship with journalists—and Trump’s periodic fixation on me specifically.[…] It is not at all uncommon these days for nefarious actors to try to induce journalists to share information that could be used against them.
Good satire comment but unfortunately tone doesn’t translate well over text.
Cattails: Wildwood Story. I’m on my second playthrough of it actually!
Cattails: Wildwood Story but I have also played Cat Quest 2 and it was very good!
I’m still convinced this poor kid is a patsy because NYPD was facing down a riot, or worse (for them), for the blatant classism in their investigation efforts.
Unfortunately much of the public has given Luigi credit/deemed him “guilty” out of a need for ideological symbolism and an outlet to express frustration.
Also driving a T*sla is a choice.
You aren’t born with your hands stuck to the wheel of one and you can sell/get rid of it at any point ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Butt cleavage maybe? Undercheek?
Ugh so typical buzzfeed clickbait slop then. Thank you for explaining. /gen
Guess I’ll go back to putting up with all the male fantasy in the cat adventure game I’m playing 😂
There were games on sale I bought on impulse that I’ve dumped plenty of hours into.
Super Mario Odyssey - bought it while I was waiting for Tears of the Kingdom to release, replayed it at least three times. Same with Mario + Rabbids.
Lots of indie games - Slime Rancher, Cat Quest II, both Cattails games, Sprout Valley. All in the replay pile and some of my favorites.
Got my money’s worth and then some, plus I wouldn’t have given them a chance if I was hesitant ¯_(ツ)_/¯
