He thought Trump was going to win the 2000 election. That Trump would follow his order, and not aid Ukraine in any way. He was so sure he openly assembled his invasion force before the election.

The thing is, Trump is dumber that Musk, but he’s older, wiser (which is not intelligence, just knowledge gained from experience,) and Trump knows, and has accepted that the “peasants” don’t like him, and he’s never liked them. He’s learned how to con, and grift, and brainwash them over the decades.

But Musk… he’s genuinely blindsided, and hurt that the peasants don’t see him as Saviour Tony Stark. He’s been insulated in his entitled, spoiled, Whiter than White Princely bubble his entire life, and is genuinely destroyed when told no, or mocked. When he was booed off stage at the Chapelle concert, his employees were genuinely concerned he was going to off himself. The narcissistic wound of rejection hurt him that bad. And it’s happening again.

The thing is they’ve been brainwashed by Fox, Right Wing AM radio, Right Wing news rags. Who know exactly how to pander to, and enrage these people. It’s intentional. It’s why those propaganda organs exist: to enrage old white people.

It’s not an excuse, but that’s what’s happened.

The only way to get through to these people is to fuck with their money, and their embarrassing gay, or interfacial lovin’ kids. And even then they’ll find a way to blame it on “The Libruls.”

Tarriffs were originally intended to protect domestic industry, by making foreign products more expensive than domestic products.

The problem is almost everyting has been offshored the US, US wages are criminally low vs the cost of living, and it will take decades to ramp up manufacuring to pre 80’s capacity. We have very little 100% American domestic industry or products.

In short, people who are not already rich are going to get fucked, hard. Elctronics, clothes, appliances, tools are all about to get more expensive.

Which is the plan: bankrupt as many peasants as possible, forcing them to sell their property, so billionaires can buy it all up, for pennies on the dollar. Those not rich will be forced to rent, forever.
