I have a couple patches of apple mint in my yard, which doesn’t seem to spread much. It legitimately does smell amazing while I’m mowing and has always grown back by the next time I mow.
People can get accustomed to their environment, even actively harmful environments. Choosing to stay where you are is an exertion of control for people who currently (and often for most of their lives) have very little control over their lives.
You can see it in everybody, just not to such a self-damaging extent. I can’t blame anyone stuck in it, the same way I don’t blame people who stay in abusive homes.
As someone who was homeless before, I really appreciate what you’ve done to help.
If I saw that in a repo I would 100% believe it. I’ve seen so many that are just as baffling.
This drives me crazy with software websites and GitHub repos. Sometimes they’ll give you a hint that involves other undefined things like, “This lets you use Floorp with Bibix.”
Exactly. Everyone at work uses it to cut the chain of “Looks good”, “Thanks”, “No problem”, etc short. If you’re interpreting an emoji as an attack you might have anger issues.
I have a good '08 car that I bought with cash 10 years ago for $3000. I got it from a guy who exclusively sells and fixes this model of car. I went back last year to get my car fixed and looked at the cars he was selling. '08s were starting at $5000.
